Why do you want to be part of the staff team? (Must be relevant to the question and be 2 paragraphs minimum): Well, before I begin to list my reasons why I wish to be a part of the staff team within Blue Networks, I will like to clarify that I have changed and shied away from what I've done previously and I apologize to anyone who I have wronged or harmed before. 

 

But to answer the question, I have a variety of reasons why I wish to join the Blue Networks staff team and it's mostly because of the fact that there's a lack of staff during the late night hours when people are active but where no staff is on to stop anything bad from occurring. This is where I can step in and prevent any issues that occur while other staff who live in different time zones sleep without getting a message about some random guy RDMing or breaking rules, it's the best for both worlds. I've had experience as a staff member before, and I haven't been a staff for quite some time, I feel like I can use my experience to benefit the server and ensure that the server operates smoothly when it comes to keeping players and individuals happy while they spend their time on Blue Networks. I have seen people RDM and do other things while Administration isn't online late at night sessions, this is the main reason why I am applying for staff and hopefully, it can solve the main issue during 'downtime' and night-time.

How long have you been on the server? (12 hours minimum in-game time) [the more is better]: 74 Hours.

Any past experience?: 

Oculus Gaming (DarkRP, Moderator, Around 2019 - 2020 before it discontinued).

Deep Gaming (BackRoomsRP, Moderator, 2022 before it was shut down).

Assorted Gaming (Santos RP, Administratior, 2018(?), discontinued).

What times are you usually on?: Late Night Weekdays, always around Weekends.

Do you understand and agree to the fact that if you are accepted you are going to have to put the server in front of your role-playing time?: Yes.

 

NOTE: My punishments before this application were three warns and a permanent ban before the ban was appealed, as for the warns? They were valid as I didn't catch up with the rules during that time, so I see no reason to appeal them (And yes, I've caught up with the rules).

I posted above the reason already. Also, you've had a permanent ban at one point and time. I have not seen you stand out in changing your ways or finding ways to improve others RPing.

Agree with @Dixie Normuss and also you just do not know how to act in sits, Kinda what happened a bit ago when I was in a sit with you and I told you to Shhh and you kept on going, and didn't Listen and I wonder how you're going to act when you're taking sits as a staff member, I mean come on it's a game and I get you were upset about the situation but if you can't control yourself and learn to just shut up and let the other person speak then you don't need to be a staff member it's that simple, as a staff member we are here to listen to both Parties and deal with the situations as needed, It's not the first time talking to you in a sit, It's kinda all the same and maybe if you be a little bit more professional in sits and Listen, I'll maybe plus one, but as of right now it's still a -1

While yes, I did act in a hostile manner towards your staff member, do keep in mind his action and attitude towards me were not favourable at all.

 

Perhaps you should instruct your staff better? As the individual was a Moderator, a full Moderator. But just my opinion 🙂

@Apex, it’s simple. Posting on the forums under apps, answering forum questions. In game answer new people’s questions when they ask in ooc, someone is new and you see them struggling simply help. Someone needs help doing a job, explain it to them. Someone is breaking a rule, educate them.

After a review of your account, it appears that Asriel previously banned you for your hostile attitude and disrespect to the player base and staff.  In your own words, you admitted to the following:

"I joined a Discord VC where I saw the Developer / Owner of the server, I asked him a few questions in a hostile and aggressive tone which caused an argument."

"I then began to call him childish insults, and we would argue with one another, I said something that caused my ban after he said he is the owner, and I called him a 'nobody'"

 

Your recent behavior towards staff.

Staff is an unpaid/unappreciated role that has to deal with a lot of angry/upset people.  We do the job because we all want to make the server a better place.  In your ban appeal request, you stated the following:

"After thinking about my actions and what I did, I've matured and I've realized what I did wrong a bit ago, I am simply asking for another chance and a fresh start to the server."

From my brief encounter with you yesterday, I would say you have not matured and have not realized what you previously did was wrong.  You verbally assaulted me and 1900gethelp05.  A small mistake on my part, where you still won the fight is no reason to verbally attack someone in the game.  You left a lot off your second clip on the player report and I think 1900 did a good job with his response to this applciation.

 

Your warn history shows a pattern of repeatedly ignoring the rules.

As with all the staff applications that I review I pull up your warning history.  This is the most important thing I look at to make up my mind on whether or not to +1/-1 someone.  Below is your warning history:

You have a pattern of job abusing and RDMing.  You had two warnings just two days ago for "RDM" and "ARDM/RDM" from two different staff members.  What has changed since these warnings?

 

Non-gmod related:

I think you need to work on yourself outside of the game as consistently blowing up on people like that is not healthy.  You need to get help with your anger as it will only cause trouble for you later in life.  I've heard good things about this website https://www.betterhelp.com/ you should check it out.

@Apex, my best advice to you as of right now is to stop replying to these. You ask for constructive criticism and when we give it to you, you reply back in a confrontational way. Such as “ maybe you should pay more attention.” Or 

“Take your own advice, you got a bit angry when I proved you wrong in a sit.

this isn’t giving you a good look. As a staff member you got to learn to take shit and move on. If I say I haven’t seen you improve your ways or use your ability as a user to improve other people’s role playing experience then I haven’t seen it. I personally have not seen you improve yet. That’s my opinion. Also I haven’t seen you in discord that much either. You’re coming back from a bad history. I simply believe everyone deserves a chance if they prove they do. So maybe take more time proving you’re capable. Cause as a staff member you’re gonna get told shit that you’re not gonna want to hear. Just accept it and move on. People are going to call you names and piss you off but you can’t be hostile. It’s called professionalism.

I know about professionalism, but considering all of the staff team believes I am incapable of being a staff member (Without a valid reason, mind you), I do believe we all know where this application is going.

Regardless of what other people say saying- my personal issue would be the emotions getting in the way.

That is understandable, what peeves me most is that people are not giving others a chance and instantly think it'll be an issue just because of a permanent ban. I've improved and calmed down slightly, but these criticisms people provide are invalid (In my eyes, anyway).

 

But I thank you for making a valid point in a calm manner, I understand what you're saying.

 

Not gonna give up just because a few staff members give a negative rating, as long as they provide criticisms that are valid, then I'm more than fine to speak to them properly.

Good. Being persistent is awesome as well, but I'd ideally like everyone on the staff team to be able to get along with each other. Not just as professionals, as sometimes that leads to awkwardness.

Ideally there shouldn't be a reason for anyone on the staff team to be upset with each other.
